COVID-19 School Policy 2022-2023
Our current COVID-19 policy is per CDC(Centers of Disease Control) recommendations. People with COVID-19 should isolate for 5 days and if they are asymptomatic or their symptoms are resolving (without fever for 24 hours), follow that by 5 days of wearing a mask when around others to minimize the risk of infecting people they encounter.
If a sibling of the positive student or family member has no symptoms, fever, or tests negative, they may still attend school. CDC recommends they wear a mask for 10 days.
If you've tested positive....
Everyone, regardless of vaccination status.
- Stay home for 5 days.
- If you have no symptoms or your symptoms are resolving after 5 days, you can leave your house.
- Continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.
